Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan on Tuesday welcomed newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Claudia Busch, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

First, Minister Papikyan extended his congratulations to Ambassador Busch on her appointment, and expressed his best wishes for further progress in the development of Armenia-Germany relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of defense cooperation between Armenia and Germany, as well as the prospects for future cooperation.

Also, the minister provided an overview of ongoing defense reforms in Armenia.

Key regional security issues were also addressed.
