Steps have also been taken in terms of unblocking the transport infrastructures of the region. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during Thursday’s debates on the 2025 state budget draft at the joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly of Armenia.

"We [i.e. Armenia] forwarded proposals to the Azerbaijani side, which were welcomed on a semi-official level. There is a certain positive atmosphere here as well. Our principles in this regard are that all the [regional] infrastructures to be unblocked must remain under the sovereignty of the countries and operate in accordance with the laws of the countries through which they pass. This is reflected on in the Crossroads of Peace project presented by our government. Many countries and international partners have welcomed the Crossroads of Peace," emphasized the Armenian FM.
