The delegation led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Vahe Ghazaryan, visited the Police Academy of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar—as part of its visit to this country.

Discussions were held with the academy staff about matters of mutual interest, particularly regarding the cooperation between the police academies of the two countries, staff training, and the development of relations in education, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, agreement was reached to organize student exchange programs between the education institutions of the two countries.

The delegation led by Ghazaryan visited also the General Directorate of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar. The members of the delegation got familiarized with the operations of the Qatari rapid response and monitoring units as well as the activities of rescuers, and engaged in discussions with the staff.

To note, delegation led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia participated in the MILIPOL Qatar 2024 global exhibition dedicated to the public safety and security issues, and met with colleagues in Qatar.
