Rahim Zare, a member of the budget planning committee of the Iranian parliament, believes that Iran's economy has stabilized and is immune to American sanctions, and the results of the upcoming presidential election in the US will not have any impact on the situation in Iran.

"The economy of our country has reached such a level of stability that no American machination will be able to affect the Iranian market and economy as before," the Iranian MP told ISNA news agency.

According to him, any former president of the US—be it a Democrat or a Republican—has always imposed new sanctions against Iran, so nothing will change this time as well.

"We [i.e. Iran] actually have neutralized the sanctions of the US and other Western countries. Iranian oil sales have increased over the past two years, despite the tightening of all sanctions by the US and Western countries," Zare emphasized.

The European sanctions also will not be able to have a strong impact on Iran's economy, due to the low level of Iran’s trade with European countries, the Iranian lawmaker concluded.
