Iranian, Armenian, and Indian officials have agreed to hold a meeting on trilateral cooperation in the transportation sector, Iran’s ambassador to Armenia said, Tasnim reports.

Speaking to reporters in Kapan, the capital of Armenia’s Syunik Province, Mehdi Sobhani said on Thursday that agreements have been reached to hold a meeting among Iran, Armenia, and India on public transportation.

The Iranian ambassador noted that further arrangements are needed to set a date for the meeting. He said cooperation in the transportation sector will benefit the three countries, highlighting the “positive viewpoint” on trilateral interaction.
