Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron met in Budapest, on the sidelines of the fifth summit of the European Political Community.

The interlocutors discussed Armenia-France cooperation, the Armenian PM’s office informs.

Pashinyan and Macron emphasized the periodic nature of high-level meetings, which provide an opportunity to discuss both the bilateral agenda and other issues of mutual interest.

The parties discussed the joint projects in the economy, infrastructure and other sectors. Armenia-European Union cooperation was also discussed, including the reforms being implemented in Armenia with the support of the EU, and the dialogue towards visa liberalization.

The sides exchanged views also on the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda and steps to ensure regional security and stability.
