The candidate for the next chief of EU foreign policy, Kaja Kallas, has stated that she considers China to be the "systemic enemy" of the European Union (EU) and called to make it pay a higher price for supporting Russia. Kallas announced this at the hearing in the EU European Parliament, after which she is expected be approved for the aforesaid position.

China's policy has changed in recent years. Now it is a competitor and a systemic opponent, Kallas emphasized, calling to reduce the "dependency of the EU" and the risks of relations with China.

Without China's support, Russia will not be able to continue the conflict in Ukraine. So, China must also feel the increasing value of its policy, claims the candidate for the next chief of EU foreign policy.
