Tuesday at 6pm Armenia time, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will issue its ruling on the preliminary objections submitted by Azerbaijan in the Armenia v. Azerbaijan case.

At ICJ, Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of crimes committed against Armenians, including murders, tortures, and inhumane treatment. Azerbaijan has filed a counterclaim against Armenia.

On August 21, 2023, Armenia had submitted its written observations and position regarding Azerbaijan's aforesaid preliminary objections. And on April 15-19 of this year, the public hearings on the preliminary objections submitted regarding the ICJ's jurisdiction were held.

Immediately after the issuing of its verdict in the Armenia v. Azerbaijan case, the ICJ will issue its ruling on the preliminary objections submitted by Armenia in the Azerbaijan v. Armenia case.
