Lilit Makunts, Armenian Ambassador to the US, on Thursday met with US Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS), the Embassy of Armenia to the United States informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors discussed the visit of the US Helsinki Commission delegation—led by Senator Wicker—to Armenia in July, and the recent regional developments. In particular, Ambassador Makunts briefed Senator Wicker оn the current state of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Also, the significance of further developing Armenia-US bilateral relations and deepening of cooperation was mutually emphasized.
