On November 17, 2023, the International Court of Justice confirmed the right of Armenians who were forced to leave Nagorno Karabakh to return to their homes. One year later, this order addressed to Azerbaijan remains unfulfilled. French ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies wrote this on X—and in Armenian.
"France forgets nothing and will concede nothing—neither in terms of their right to return, nor in the protection of [Armenian] cultural and religious heritage," added the French diplomat.
