Two of Russia's main allies in Europe, Hungary and Slovakia, have slammed outgoing US President Joe Biden's decision to allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory. But this authorization applies only to Russia's Kursk region, a US official said, CNN reports.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijarto, called this decision of the US administration "very dangerous."

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, also strongly opposed this decision, and said that it aims to disrupt or delay the peace talks, BBC reports.
