In Armenia, deflation has been replaced by inflation, according to a statement by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

According to the results of October, annual inflation in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was 0.6% in Armenia, 5.9% in Belarus, 8.5% in Kazakhstan, 4.8% in Kyrgyzstan, and 8.5% in Russia.

According to the aforesaid statement, in the makeup of consumer prices in the EAEU countries, a slowdown in inflation was observed in food products in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in non-food products in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, and in services in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

To note, the Eurasian Economic Commission is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union.
