The Chamber of Deputies—i.e. the parliament—of Luxembourg has passed a resolution in which, taking into account a number of circumstances, it condemns the sanctions being applied by the authorities of Azerbaijan, and which are directed against the freedom of speech of MPs and civil society representatives.

With this resolution, the legislature of Luxembourg also demands Azerbaijan to immediately and unconditionally release all illegally imprisoned persons—including Armenians.
