The European Union (EU) will propose to include about 50 individuals and 30 legal entities in the new—15th—package of sanctions against Russia, Bloomberg reports, citing documents at its disposal.

According to these documents, it is mainly planned to impose new sanctions on Russian military manufacturers, as well as some Chinese firms which allegedly supply them with parts for the production of drones.

Russian companies engaged in oil transportation, as well as the military and company leaders, may come under new sanctions.

In addition, the EU proposes to impose sanctions on approximately 30 organizations that allegedly help Russia acquire military technology. According to the aforesaid documents obtained by Bloomberg, the respective list includes companies from Russia, Serbia, Iran, India, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

The EU is proposing sanctions also against North Korea's military personnel who are is allegedly engaged in sending military personnel to Russian territory.

The new package of sanctions includes as banning the entry of more than 45 oil tankers from Russia to European ports and services.

The permanent representatives of the EU countries on Wednesday will debate on these new sanctions on Russia in connection with the conflict in Ukraine.
