Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted—at the government building—the delegation led by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is on an official visit to Armenia.

The interlocutors underscored the continued development and expansion of cooperation between Armenia and Poland in the political, economic, tourism, cultural, and humanitarian domains.

Also, the parties emphasized the need to take consistent steps to promote trade and economic ties between the two countries. In this context, Pashinyan and Duda considered the intensification of intergovernmental cooperation and high-level mutual visits as key.

The interlocutors discussed Armenia-European Union (EU) cooperation as well. In this connection, the president of Poland expressed his country's support for expanding Armenia’s relations with the EU and the implementation of democratic reforms in the country, and welcomed the start of a dialogue with Armenia on visa liberalization.

Separately, PM Pashinyan briefed President Duda on the latest developments in the talks toward signing an Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty and the principle positions of the Armenian side in that regard. Also, the premier stressed Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda.
