Russian President Vladimir Putin said he remained outraged by the “uncivilized methods of fighting” against US President-elect Donald Trump during the election campaign, Kommersant reports.

According to the Russian President, the US President-elect from the Republican Party still remains “not safe”.

At the same time, he recalled two assassination attempts on Trump.

Putin also called humiliating and unjustified legal proceedings that were conducted against the American politician. He also pointed out that not only Trump, but also members of his family were attacked.

According to the Russian president, this shows “the entire fall of today's American political system” and called such methods of struggle disgusting.

“Our gangsters don't do that. When criminal groups fight among themselves, women and children are not touched,” he said.
