The Syrian army, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, has destroyed at least 400 militants who attacked the Aleppo and Idlib governorates, said Colonel Oleg Ignatyuk, Deputy Director of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, at a press briefing.

"From 7:50am on November 27, illegal armed groups linked to the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization attacked the Syrian government-controlled areas in Aleppo and Idlib governorates. The Syrian Arab Army is persistently fighting with the support of Russian Aerospace Forces," said Ignatyuk.

He added that during the last 24 hours, the terrorists suffered considerable losses of equipment and personnel, and at least 400 militants were killed.

In addition, during the last 24 hours in the de-escalation zone of Idlib, the Jabhat al-Nusra militants carried out 13 attacks on positions of Syrian government troops—12 of them in Idlib and one in Aleppo governorates.
