Doctoral and medical scientific degrees from Azerbaijani universities have been declared invalid in Iran, reports the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran.
In an interview with Mehr News Agency, Hamed Taqfi, a representative of the aforesaid ministry, explained this decision by the fact that Azerbaijani institutions of higher education do not have high indicators in the world ranking of universities.
