Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan on Friday received Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopyrkin.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kopyrkin introduced the newly appointed Defense Attaché of the Russian embassy in Yerevan, Colonel Aleksandr Goryunov, to Papikyan, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The defense minister extended his congratulations to Colonel Goryunov on his appointment, and wished him a productive tenure.

The ensuing discussion encompassed the bilateral agenda and regional security as well.
