A meeting of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Right of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) started in Armenia Monday, within the framework of which PACE Secretary General Despina Chatzivassiliou-Tsovilis also arrived in the country, informs the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia.

Before the start of the meeting, NA speaker Alen Simonyan received the PACE Secretary General and Pablo Hispan, the chairman of this meeting and Vice-Chairperson of the aforesaid committee, to discuss the organizational issues of this meeting to be held in the NA.

Also, PACE President Theodoros Rousopoulos remotely welcomed the participants of this meeting, after which Alen Simonyan delivered opening remarks.
