In a telephone conversation with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced Tehran's readiness to cooperate with the IAEA to resolve the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear program.

As Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted in a statement, "Araghchi strongly criticized the unconstructive moves by certain members of the IAEA’s Board of Governors, which have hindered the director general’s efforts to make progress in resolving safeguard issues."

Araghchi “reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran, just as it did not hesitate to deliver a decisive response to such actions, remains committed to constructive technical cooperation with the IAEA.”
