Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This is noted in a statement by the communication department of the Turkish president’s office.

They discussed the latest events in Syria, as well as other regional and international issues, the Turkish media report.

During the talk, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will continue to support the Syrian people in establishing permanent stability in Syria.

Aliyev, for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the new situation in Syria.
