Hyundai Motor has revealed the appearance of its new—second—generation Palisade full-size crossover, as the South Korean company distributed brand photos of this car, reports Drom.ru.

Judging by the photo, the models have completely changed the style paradigm. In the case when the appearance of the predecessor was characterized by "meaningful" forms and an abundance of curved lines, the appearance of the second generation, however, is designed in a deliberately rough way: straight lines and "carved" surfaces. The vertical LED headlights and taillights, as well as the large radiator grille, attract attention. In general, the appearance of the new Palisade is in line with the last generation Hyundai Santa Fe.

Hyundai did not present the technical characteristics of the new Palisade, but they note that its wheelbase has increased compared to its predecessor (2900 mm), but its front sill—on the contrary—is shorter. Standard wheel tread diameter is 21 inches.

The interior of the car has a digital instrument panel and two screens of the media system—each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches. The automatic gearbox selector has been moved from the central tunnel to the steering column; this decision evokes associations with classic American cars. The space freed up between the front seats was used in order to provide additional comfort. There, 100-watt USB-C charging ports and wireless charging for smartphones were installed.
Hyundai promises to release full technical details on this new full-size crossover in the coming weeks.

The outgoing generation Hyundai Palisade has been manufactured since 2018.
