PARIS. - The bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide is not included in the agenda of the French Senate, Rhône-Alpes regional MP Hilda Tchoboian told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding that the current agenda is in power till the end of the year.

“The bill is also not included in the agenda of the National Assembly,” she said stressing that the bill initiative is still uncertain as the agenda of the Assembly is in power till January 20, next year.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, France elaborates on two bills meantime regarding criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide. The French President Nikolas Sarkozy supports one of them. The initiative intends criminal responsibility for denial of any genocide, recognized by France.
