Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is expected in Saint Petersburg, Russia for the meeting of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has confirmed.

"The [Russian] President [Vladimir Putin] has invited Mr. Pashinyan and, naturally, he is waiting for the traditional meeting with other colleagues in Saint Petersburg, which, of course, is unofficial. But at the same time, both the CIS and EurAsEC [i.e. the Eurasian Economic Community] will be there. The agenda is quite substantial," Peskov told reporters.
