Iranian and Turkish Presidents Masoud Pezeshkian and Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting on the sidelines of the Islamic D-8 summit in the Egyptian capital Cairo, Tasnim reported.

Earlier, Mehr reported on the meeting between Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers Abbas Araghchi and Hakan Fidan. It was reported that the interlocutors called for a consensus of Islamic countries on the situation in Syria and the Middle East.
