The 12th Khachaturian International Festival was held, from November 20 to December 16, in Yerevan. This annual event has become one of the key musical events of the Armenian capital city.

Every year, world-renowned musicians come to Yerevan as part of this festival, which bring together music lovers and guests of the city with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the works of great Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, as well as other classical and modern composers.

This year, six concerts were held within the framework of the Khachaturian International Festival., whose opening concert on November 20 was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the evening was a unique call to join the actions for the protection of children's rights.

The 12th Khachaturian International Festival was organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, and the patronage of the Yerevan Municipality. The partner of this year’s festival was Khakhamyan Heritage company.

The Khachaturian International Festival is a member of the European Festivals Association (EFA) since 2021.
