The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Davit Khudatyan, received a delegation led by the US ambassador to Armenia, Kristina Kvien.

The minister welcomed the ambassador, and emphasized the importance of deepening Armenia-US ties and cooperation.

The US envoy, for her part, expressed her readiness to continue and expand the cooperation with the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.

The progress of a number of projects being jointly implemented was discussed. Reference was made to cooperation in energy, local government, and Armenia's Crossroads for Peace project, for which the US diplomat expressed her support.

The possibility of starting direct flights between Armenia and the US was also discussed.
