Employees of the Batumi State Maritime Academy of Georgia were congratulated on the New Year with an e-card depicting the Russian national flag.

Screen congratulations are distributed by Adjara Times newspaper.

The New Year's greeting to the aforesaid academy employees was sent from the e-mail address of the Personnel Management Department, SOVA informs.

The fact was confirmed by the dean of the Batumi State Maritime Academy, Murtaz Devadze, who noted that an employee of the academy had made a mistake.

"On the occasion of the holidays, the HR specialist sent a letter and attached a photo taken from Google. Apparently, he did not notice [this fact], many people noticed and said to him, ‘What have you done?’ The mail has already been deleted. I feel sorry for him, but what can I do?" said Devadze.
