Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, expressed Tehran's readiness to expand interaction with Baku, Mehr reports.

According to media reports, during the phone conversation, the Iranian president said Tehran is eager to expand interaction with Baku and invited Aliyev to visit Iran.

“He also expressed condolences to the people and government of Azerbaijan over the recent tragic incident of the airplane crash,” Mehr writes.
