At the instigation of foreign agents stationed in NATO countries, false information is being spread on the internet that some high-ranking employees of the central office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) allegedly held talks with representatives of the MFAs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in order to develop theories regarding Wednesday’s Azerbaijani plane crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan, the Russian MFA noted in a statement Friday.

"There were no negotiations on this matter with the foreign political departments of the mentioned countries.

The investigation into the causes of the plane crash is being carried out by the relevant departments.

It is obvious that there is a political order behind such malicious disinformation.

We consider attempts to make PR out of human tragedies undignified and unacceptable," added the Russian MFA statement.
