The fire that broke out in the warehouse at the Bagratashen checkpoint on the border with Georgia was extinguished at 4:18pm, according to the Rescue Service of Armenia.

Earlier we reported that at 12:43pm Friday, the crisis management center of the Tavush provincial rescue department of Armenia received a report that a fire had broke out in the warehouse at the Bagratashen checkpoint on the border with Georgia.

The operative team of the provincial rescue department, five fire and rescue squad, one water tanker, and patrol service units were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained at 2:24pm.

But as a result of the fire, three people were injured, to whom the rescuers and the police provided first aid on the spot. Subsequently, they were taken to a medical center.

According to preliminary data, pyrotechnical objects were burning in the warehouse.
