YEREVAN. – Developments around the Hrazdan stadium have been intensifying day by day. Relations between ruling Republican MP, president of Armenia’s Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan and owner of the mall surrounding the stadium MP Ashot Aghababyan seems to arrive to a deadlock.
“The solution for the stadium is already beyond the authority of Aghababyan. Rumors tell that Aghababyan, understanding this, sends his delegation to Hayrapetyan by stating that he is ready to negotiate, compromise, and find solutions,” Iravunk newspaper writes.
However, Hayarpetyan, according to the same rumors, "sends the delegation to the hell," stating that there can be no compromises and he has no mood and time for it. The stadium must remain sport arena, Hayrapetyan requires.
