The statement by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense (MoD), claiming that between 10pm and 10:10pm Sunday, the Armed Forces of Armenia opened fire on Azerbaijani positions in the southeastern section of the border, does not correspond to reality, informed the Armenian MoD.

It should be noted that the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia has proposed the establishment of a joint Armenian-Azerbaijani mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and related cases. To date, Azerbaijan has not provided a response to this proposal, added the Armenian MoD.
