A 3.6 magnitude earthquake occurred on the border of Azerbaijan and Iran, reports the Earthquake Research Bureau of Republic Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan.
The tremors were recorded 17 km north of Yardimli station.
The source of the quake was located at a depth of 33 kilometers.
The seismic activity was felt also in Jalilabad, Azerbaijan.
