I will not be surprised if Pashinyan, who shaved his beard, remembers that Armenia is a member of the CSTO, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, regarding Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Or another option in light of the intention of the leaders of Armenia to ‘marry’ the European Union. One can apply directly to the EU; they like to help the candidates of the ‘paradise’ with money and weapons. The European Union has the great Ukrainian experience [of that] behind it," Medvedev told RIA Novosti.
Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday once again threatened Armenia with war, questioned the prospect of signing a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, and stated that the so-called “Zangezur corridor” via Armenia "must and will be opened"
In response, PM Pashinyan announced that Azerbaijan was attempting to provoke aggressive rhetoric in Armenia.
