The minister of foreign affairs of Turkey held a press conference, during which he reflected on the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Hakan Fidan noted that a historic opportunity has opened for lasting peace in the region, reports IHA news agency. He emphasized that Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan's positive and courageous demeanor in this matter stands out.

Also, Fidan stated that several points have remained that have not been agreed upon between Armenia and Azerbaijan yet, but Turkey hopes that the peace agreement between them will be signed in 2025.
