Seismological center of the territorial seismic protection service of the Armenian Interior Ministry on January 11, at 18:31 local time (14:31 GMT), recorded an earthquake 1 km north of Spitak city, the rescue service of the RA Interior Ministry reports, 

Geographical coordinates of the earthquake are 40․84⁰ north latitude, 44.27⁰ east longitude.

The origin was located at the depth of 10 km. The magnitude was 2.1. 

In the epicenter the intensity of tremors was 2-3 MSK. The earthquake was felt in Spitak city and Arevashokh village with intensity of 2-3 MSK.
