All roads passing through the sovereign territory of Armenia will be overseen only by the Republic of Armenia. Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, wrote this on Facebook.

"Enthused by [Azerbaijani president Ilham] Aliyev's statements, the ‘national savior’ oppositionists propose to immediately give road to Azerbaijan through Syunik [Province of Armenia] under the overseeing of a third party. In this way, these figures serving the interests of the empire also develop the Azerbaijani discourse about the corridor. There can't even be a discussion about any corridor or road under the overseeing of any party through the territory of Armenia, the roads in Armenia will be overseen only by the Republic of Armenia," Chakhoyan added.
