In the case of the implementation of the Crossroads of Peace project of Armenia, the land port of Gyumri can be put into operation, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated at Monday’s press conference to recap the 2024 economic results in Armenia.

In Papoyan’s assessment, in that case, the aforesaid land port will become a major regional hub.

"It means that we will implement the Crossroads of Peace project not only in word, but also in deed. This implies the completion of the construction of the North-South corridor and the development of the railway network," Papoyan added.
