The minister of justice of Armenia did not give a positive response to the question of whether there was a document about the already completed border delimitation with Azerbaijan in the direction of Tavush Province.

At Tuesday’s press conference, Srbuhi Galyan, answering the question of whether there was a relevant document, said that this process is ongoing, there is no other way than to continue it until the end, just as there is no other way than the path to peace.

The justice minister assured that the Armenian ruling party has no intention of deviating from its path to achieve peace, and therefore the border delimitation process shall continue.

When asked whether there was already a document on the specific sector, the minister said that when this process is completed, bilateral agreements will be necessary, including on borders.

The Armenian justice minister then reflected on Azerbaijan’s statements that the border delimitation process in the aforesaid sector is over.

"This is a mutual perception," Galyan added.

The minister, however, chose not to talk about where the border delimitation process will continue.

"The topic is sensitive, and I don't want to talk about many things. Many issues, at least at this phase, are not subject to broad discussion," said the Armenian official.
