It is reported that Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzan Sadig held online talks with Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit.

During the meeting, the heads of departments talked about technical-executive works on the construction of the Resht-Astara railroad within the framework of the North-South ITC.

They also talked about the adjustment of the road map of joint cooperation for 2025 and cooperation on the use of the Eastern part of the Caspian Sea.

In addition, they touched upon the upcoming trilateral meeting in the transportation sphere between Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran. It will be held on January 28, but the place and level have not been specified.
