A little while ago, I got familiarized with the document called the "RA [(Republic of Armenia)]-US strategic cooperation." The former director of the National Security Service of Armenia and the chairman of the Homeland Party, Artur Vanetsyan, wrote this on Facebook.

"According to the rules of the genre, in the near future [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan will announce Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO.

In its turn, the RF [(Russian Federation)] essentially stated that Armenia cannot have a matter of EU membership on the agenda and remain a member of the EAEU [(Eurasian Economic Union)].

It is obvious that Nikol Pashinyan's foreign policy continues to remain in the realm of adventurism—threatening to bring another disaster to our homeland.

The basis of any state decision should be the interest of the homeland and a careful calculation of the results and consequences of that decision. Meanwhile, in this case, the haste arising from the interests of others is obvious. And that means that there can be severe consequences that we will all suffer—without exceptions," Vanetsyan added.
