The top speed activeness of the representatives of Armenia in the matter of signing various binding documents on cooperation with everyone and about everything may have unexpected and complicated consequences for this country and its people. Grigory Karasin, Chair of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, noted this on Telegram.
"The seriousness of the development of the mentioned documents and their compliance with the obligations already undertaken by Armenia towards other partners and international organizations raises questions. This applies not lastly to the EAEU [i.e. the Eurasian Economic Union] and the CSTO [i.e. the Collective Security Treaty Organization]. We know from history that mania in politics often brings not at all expected results," added Karasin.
