Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili met in an expanded format, the Azerbaijani MFA said in a post on X, APA reports.
The meeting discussed the “political, security, economic, energy, transport-communications, humanitarian dimensions of Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic partnership, as well as regional and international security matters of mutual interest. Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about the post-conflict regional reconstruction, demining and peace efforts, as well as existing challenges to the sustainable peace process," APA added.
It became known Thursday that Georgia will build a new embassy building in Baku. The government of Azerbaijan has allocated land to Georgia for the construction of a new embassy building in the Azerbaijani capital.
