The "Miasin (Together)" sociopolitical movement and various political forces demand from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to petition to the co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group with a demand to annul the Armenian military and political captives’ “trial” starting in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and to release them.

Aram Sargsyan, a leader of the aforesaid movement and chairman of the Democratic Party, said that they will personally submit their respective petition to all the co-chair countries—i.e. France, US, and Russia—of the OSCE Minsk Group:.

In turn, former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan told reporters that the OSCE Minsk Group should be submitted clear demands because it does not fulfill its duties. He emphasized that the Armenian authorities need to realize that this structure is important for Armenians.

Also, the "Miasin" movement is calling a rally on February 20 in Yerevan's Freedom or Republic Squares. It will be dedicated to the start of the day of the national liberation struggle of the Armenian people. The first demonstration in support of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenians was held in Yerevan on February 20, 1988.

As reported earlier, the “trial” of 15 of the 23 Armenians held captive in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, are held today in a Baku court.
