A clash between protesters and law enforcement officers took place in front of the police station of the Temka district of Tbilisi, the First Channel of Georgia reported.

According to available information, several protesters were detained by the police for wearing masks, which caused the confrontation.

In turn, Novosti-Gruzia quoted TV Pirveli as saying that at least six people were detained during the protest action in front of the police station in Tbilisi's TEVZ neighborhood.

Several dozen people held a march to the department under the slogan “No to the police regime” from Saradzhishvili metro station. Some participants of the rally defiantly covered their faces with masks. Doing so at protests in Georgia has recently been banned.

The police informed the disobedient protesters that they would be fined. In response, they began chanting “Everywhere police - no justice anywhere.”

Soon the Interior Ministry officers began to detain one of the demonstrators, which the others tried to prevent. During the clash, the glass door of the police station was broken.
