I don't know a country with which relations will be simple. Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov stated this at a press conference held in Moscow with his visiting Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, on Tuesday.

According to Lavrov, the closer the countries and peoples are, the richer the interactions, the more the events, and the more the practical issues.

"There are also issues of a political nature, which, it seems to me, have been deliberately aggravated by some circles in our relations," Lavrov noted, adding that the leaders of the two countries had talked about the same thing.

The Russian FM noted that he has agreed with its Armenian colleague to talk openly and honestly about all the issues that concern each other and to try to take measures so that the media are not used by malicious countries to turn normal working relations into complications.
