The demonstrative ‘trials’ that have begun in Baku are not only a tragedy for the Armenian people, but also a humiliation of the Council of Europe, whose member ignores the basic values of the organization and remains unpunished. Armen Gevorgyan, a member of Armenia's delegation to PACE, said this when questioning the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Ministers Xavier Bettel.

“The Baku regime isolates its people from civilization, creating a medieval dictatorial regime based on national extremism. There can be no fair trial for Armenians in a state where there is no justice even for its own citizens. How can the Committee of Ministers stop this shameful process?” he noted.
