Andrey Serdyukov, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), has drawn attention to the ongoing unstable situation in the South Caucasus, TASS reports.
“The settlement process continues, the central aspect of which is the work on the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the preparation for the signing of a peace treaty. Tensions in the region are intensifying due to attempts by Western countries to increase their influence in the South Caucasus,” Serdyukov emphasized at a press briefing.
